DESCRIPTION:The New York Marine Rescue Center is hosting its 27th annual 5K Run for the Ridley on Saturday\, Oct. 19. This annual run is a great opportunity for both avid runners and those who just want to support a good cause. Here are the key details: \n– Registration is $44.15 in advance or $54.50 on the day of the race.\n– Virtual participation options are available for those who can’t make it in person.\n– The first 150 registrants will receive complimentary T-shirts.\n– Live results will be provided via text and email\, and free finish line photos will be available.\n– If you register three weeks in advance\, you’ll receive a personalized bib. \nAwards will be given to the top three male and female finishers overall\, as well as the top three in each age group: nine and under\, 10-14\, 15-19\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60-69\, 70 and over. \nEven if you’re not a runner\, there are still ways to get involved. Donations and sponsorships are always welcome\, and you can cheer on the runners on race day.
