SUMMARY:43rd Hallockville Museum Farm Country Fair
DESCRIPTION:The 43rd Hallockville Museum Farm Country Fair is set to take place on Saturday\, Sept. 28\, and Sunday\, Sept. 29. This family-friendly event will feature a mix of farm activities\, historical tours and re-enactments\, folk arts and skills demonstrations\, and contemporary music and food trucks. \nNew attractions this year include:\n– Third NY Regiment 1775 Long Island Revolutionary War re-enactors\n– Colonial cooking demonstrations by Diane Schwindt\n– Performances by the Islip Horsemen’s Association Spirit of Long Island Mounted Drill Team\n– Traditional post and beam building demonstration \nThe fair will also offer immersive farm and history experiences such as:\n– Historic home tours\n– Hayrides\n– Pony rides\n– A petting zoo\n– Tractor pulls and parade\n– Baked goods and handcrafted wares for sale\n– Traditional children’s games and activities \nThe fair will be rounded out with live music and food and beverage trucks. A detailed schedule of Country Fair activities is available on the Hallockville Museum Farm website. \nTickets are $15 for individuals age 13 and older\, $10 for children ages four to 12\, and children under four are free. A family-pack of four tickets is $45.
