SUMMARY:7th Annual Fall Fishing Showdown & Lobster Bash at Port of Egypt Marine
DESCRIPTION:The 7th Annual Fall Fishing Showdown & Lobster Bash is a weekend of friendly competition\, fabulous food and fun\, all to benefit the Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital Foundation. The event\, organized by Port of Egypt Marine\, is a two-day affair\, starting on Friday\, Sept. 26 and ending on Saturday\, Sept. 27. Here’s what you can expect: \n– Captain’s Huddle: This pre-tournament meeting will take place at 5 p.m. on Friday\, Sept. 26 at Port of Egypt Marine. \n– Tournament: The main event will start at 6 p.m. on Friday and end at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Participants will compete for cash prizes awarded to the top three striped bass\, bluefish\, sea bass and porgies. \n– Lobster Bash: Open to all\, this seafood feast begins at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday\, Sept. 27 at Port of Egypt Marine. The menu includes lobster and seafood dinners by Southold Fish Market and drinks from the Greenport Harbor Beer Truck. \nThe cost to participate is $700 per boat (for four anglers) and tickets for the Lobster Bash are $95 each.
