DESCRIPTION:Lions International Club of Riverhead is hosting a canned food drive at Stop & Shop on July 20. The event\, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.\, is aimed at helping the Church of the Harvest Food Pantry stock its shelves. The pantry is currently experiencing a shortage of supplies from Island Harvest and LI Cares\, and is in need of items such as rice\, jelly\, canned soups\, vegetables and fruit\, dry cereals\, macaroni and cheese\, and pasta. This is a one-day effort to help those in need in our community.
