A teaching and exposition of Sacred Relics will be held on Friday, Oct. 22 at 6 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
Father Carlos Martins will bring a collection of over 150 relics from the Vatican with some as old as 2000 years. Relics will be of St. Joseph, St. Maria Goretti, St. Therese of Lisieux (“Little Flower”), St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Faustina Kowalska. There will also be a portion of the Veil of Our Lady and one of the largest remaining pieces of the True Cross in the world.
People are also encouraged to bring their own articles of devotions and pictures of ill friends or family members to touch to the reliquaries as a means of intercession. 2021
