“Food Preservation” will be held on Saturday, June 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hallockville Museum Farm.
Local cooks and educators will lead a discussion of old and new food preservation and storage techniques with a hands-on canning class to make a seasonal preserve.
The event costs $50 for Hallockville Museum Farm members or $65 for non-members. For more details and to register, visit the museum farm’s website. Registered participants may ask for a copy of each events recommended books as they are available at the museum farm.
This event is part of a series entitled “Turning Back Thyme.” Members may also sign up for all four workshops for $175.
