Enjoy a historical presentation about the “South Side Railroad of Long Island” on Saturday, March 18 at 11 a.m. at the Riverhead Free Library hosted by the Railroad Museum of Long Island.
The slideshow and discussion will be led by historian Paul Carr. Learn more about the railroad that ran from Brooklyn to Patchogue and in 1899 became the “South Side” or LIRR’s Babylon and Montauk branches.
The event is free and open to the public.
