DESCRIPTION:Join the Mattituck-Laurel Library for a unique sound journey with music therapist Kathy Pasca on Feb. 6. This immersive listening experience is designed to nurture your mind and body. A variety of instruments will be played\, including crystal singing bowls\, ocean drum\, Native American flute\, and tuning forks. These sounds invite therapeutic and restorative processes that calm your mind\, body\, and nervous system\, providing relaxation and a feeling of well-being. \nParticipants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or something to lay on. Additional comfort items such as a blanket\, pillow\, eye mask\, and fuzzy socks are also welcomed. This is a free event\, but registration is required. You can register at the Mattituck-Laurel Library’s website.
