DESCRIPTION:Get ready to groove with GUNK\, an all-girl\, Motown-inspired\, eight-piece funk band\, on Saturday\, Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Jamesport Meeting House. This talented group of local music educators will bring a funky flare to contemporary hits and timeless classics. Their performance is equal parts music and fun – featuring three-part harmonies\, instrument swaps\, and a pink goose named Gladys. \nGUNK is sure to raise the roof and have the audience dancing in the aisles. Be sure to buy your tickets early as last year’s GUNK performance sold out quickly. General admission for adults is $20\, admission for students ages five to 18 is $10\, and children age four and under are free. Tickets can be purchased online on the Events page at the Jamesport Meeting House website.
