“MLK: Through Many Voices” to be hosted by Riverhead Anti-Bias Task Force

Celebrate the birthday and history of Martin Luther King Jr. with a program of speeches, writings and discussions on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Riverhead Free Library or virtually hosted by the Riverhead Anti-Bias Task Force.

The free event will feature a reading of his writings, speeches and essays. Guests such as Suffolk County Sheriff Errol Toulon, Suffolk County Community College Professor James Banks, East End NAACP President Larry Street and Reverend Charles Coverdale and Deacon Robert “Bubbie” Brown, both of the First Baptist Church of Riverhead will attend. They will discuss how King Jr. inspired them to follow in his footsteps
