SUMMARY:PBMC's 10th Annual Caregiver Conference
DESCRIPTION:Peconic Bay Medical Center will host its 10th Annual Caregiver Conference on Thursday\, Nov. 7 at the Hotel Indigo East End in Riverhead.\n\n \n\nThis conference was started 10 years ago to highlight National Caregivers Month in November and it continues as a community event to recognize and support the vital role family caregivers play in the care of their loved ones.\n\n \n\nThis in-person event provides family caregivers with access to valuable resources\, education\, activities to support self-care and is an opportunity to connect you to a community that supports family caregivers.\n\n \n\nThe keynote speaker this year will be Dr. Sandeep Jauhar\, cardiologist and best-selling author of “My Father’s Brain: Life in the Shadow of Alzheimer’s\,” named the best book of 2023 by New Yorker magazine.\n\nThe event takes place from 9:30 a\,m. to 1:30 p.m. Hotel Indigo East End is located at 1830 West Main Street (Route 25)\, Riverhead\, NY 11901.\n\n \n\nAlso offered at the conference will be a resource fair and a Q&A panel.
