DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, July 17\, the Riverhead Lions Club and RSVP will host a pickleball tournament fundraiser at Box Pickleball. \nThe event features singles and doubles matches\, with a variety of skill levels represented to ensure fair and exciting gameplay.\nIt also includes a buffet. A cash bar will be available. \nThe tournament winner will receive a prize for their outstanding performance \nThere will be raffles and door prizes to support the Riverhead Lions Club. \nThe proceeds from the tournament will benefit both the Riverhead Lions Club and RSVP Inc.\, an animal welfare & rescue group dedicated to helping Long Island pets in need. Their goal is to stop pet abuse\, neglect\, and overpopulation in our communities. The Riverhead Lions Club’s vital work supports local needs and global causes. Activities encompass a wide range of initiatives\, including sight conservation\, hearing and speech services\, diabetes awareness\, youth outreach\, and disaster relief. \nTournament participants must check in at 6 p.m.. The first game will commence at 6:30 p.m. The cost of the tournament is $75 for participants\, $45 for cheerleaders. Par. Participants can register online until July 10.
