This year\, the festival is dedicated to contemporary sounds\, aiming to engage the community and invite listeners to participate on multiple levels. \nThe Rites of Spring Music Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary by paying homage to the North Fork. The festival will showcase the area’s artistic expressions and working practices in extraordinary venues such as The Suffolk. The North Fork’s rich maritime and agricultural traditions\, along with its diverse cultures and practices\, will be highlighted through the music and rhythms of the festival. \nThe evening’s program will feature the Long Island Concert Orchestra\, a dynamic and powerful ensemble of talented musicians. They will present a program of music by Mozart\, Shor\, Taralli\, and Copland – music that celebrates the winemaking and agricultural traditions of the North Fork.
