SUMMARY:Riverhead Athletic Club's Inaugural 'Run the Wave 5K'
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, Oct. 4\, 2025\, Riverhead Athletic Club is hosting its inaugural ‘Run the Wave 5K’. The race is set to take place at Riverhead High School. The club is dedicated to enriching and supporting athletes in the Riverhead community. Proceeds from the race will be used to provide scholarship opportunities\, camps\, facility improvements\, and financial support to all areas of athletics in Riverhead. \nThe day will kick off with a Kids Fun Run at 8:30 a.m.\, followed by the 5K at 9 a.m. After the race\, participants can look forward to an awards ceremony and refreshments. The race is stroller-friendly\, so families are encouraged to participate. \nRegistration begins at 7:30 a.m. The cost to participate is $30 for adults and $20 for kids.
