DESCRIPTION:The dynamic husband and wife team of Madeline Kole\, vocalist\, and Rich Iacona\, pianist\, will present songs from the Golden Age of the Great American Songbook\, 1930-1960s. \nFeatured will be songs from George and Ira Gershwin\, Jerome Kern\, Irving Berlin\, Cole Porter and Rodgers and Hart\, to name a few. \nThey will share interesting stories about the composers and their songs\, and delve into the lyrics\, melodies and the Broadway shows from which they originated. \nThe concert will take place in the Grand Room at Riverhead Free Library on Saturday\, Nov. 16 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
