Spring is in the air so walk the fields and woods of the Hallockville Museum Farm and state preserve on Saturday, May 7 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The walk will be led by Mary Laura Lamont of the Hallock State Park Preserve. Several varieties of migrating birds will be visiting the Long Island Sound. The fields and preserve are a perfect spot to feed and rest. Bring binoculars, tick spray and prepare to walk two to three miles.
The event costs $10. To register for the event, email admin@hallockville.org. Participants are asked to meet in the parking lot of the museum farm.
