DESCRIPTION:Join the Hallockville Museum Farm on Sunday\, July 13\, from 1 to 3 p.m. for a trip back in time with the ‘Stirring Up History’: Early Ice Cream Making\, Victorian Ice Cream Molds Workshop. This historic culinary experience will be led by historical cook Diane Schwindt. \nParticipants will learn about the early American tradition of ice cream making\, using a sarbotiere packed in salt ice. The event will also feature a hands-on experience with antique ice cream molds. The result? A delightful frozen treat placed on a homemade waffle. \nThe event is open to adults\, teens\, and children. The cost is $40 for non-member adults and teens\, $35 for member adults and teens\, $15 for children aged five to 12\, and free for children aged four and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. \nAdvanced registration is required for this unique culinary experience.
