DESCRIPTION:The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a New York State Safe Boating Class at the Riverhead Town Senior Center. The class will be held in two different sessions. The first session is a one-day\, eight-hour course on Saturday\, Oct. 5\, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The second session will be held over two days\, on Tuesday\, Oct. 15 and Wednesday\, Oct. 16\, with four hours each night from 5 to 9 p.m. \nThis is a free event and is a great opportunity for anyone looking to improve their boating skills and knowledge. The class will cover a range of topics and is suitable for both beginners and experienced boaters.
