The past comes alive at every stop\, with each location offering a unique challenge. \nParticipants are invited to take a selfie at each location and upload it to the event website. Those who complete a challenge at any site are automatically eligible to win a prize. But the real glory lies in completing a challenge at all 12 sites. Participants who achieve this feat will earn the title of Revolutionary Trailblazer and be entered into the grand prize drawing. Lincoln is elected; Southern States secede. Northerners think the South is bluffing until Bull Run. \n– April 23\, Part 2: January to December 1862. Fighting intensifies\, The Proclamation. Confederate Army dominates in the East\, Grant emerges in the West\, Union victory at Antietam opens door for Lincoln. \n– May 7\, Part 3: January to December 1863. Lee shocks at Chancellorsville\, then invades the North. Grant’s persistence at Vicksburg\, bloody Gettysburg\, Lincoln’s address. \n– June 4\, Part 4: January 1864 to April 1865. Bloodshed continues\, Lincoln re-election in doubt\, Grant V Lee\, Appomattox. \nIt is often said the country entered the war as the United States\, plural\, and emerged a nation\, as the United States\, singular.
