SUMMARY:Mindfulness Series with Donna Nesteruk at Mattituck-Laurel Library
DESCRIPTION:The Mattituck-Laurel Library is hosting a Mindfulness Series with Donna Nesteruk. This two-part series will take place on July 29 and Aug. 5\, both starting at 5:30 p.m. and ending at 6:30 p.m. Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing awareness on the present moment\, a life-changing practice that enhances overall health. Being caught in the mayhem of daily responsibilities often triggers feelings of anxiety and depression. Gnawing thoughts of the past can afflict you. This series will help you learn to live in the now\, build upon the past\, and prepare for a brighter future. The event is free to attend. You can register separately for one or both of these programs at the library’s website.
