DESCRIPTION:The AAECF\, Inc. is hosting its fourth annual ‘Benefit Concert in the Park’ on Saturday\, Aug. 23\, 2025\, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grangebel Park\, located behind the Chase Bank in downtown Riverhead. This free-to-attend event promises a diverse musical extravaganza featuring top artists like ‘Deverne and the Vintage Soul Band’\, and renowned vocalist ‘Mark MK’. A special tribute to blues icon\, Sam ‘Bluzman’ Taylor will be performed by his talented recording artist family\, Sandra and NiNi Taylor and grandson Lawrence ‘LAW’ Worrell\, a seven-time Grammy nominee and Indie Music Award winner. A special appearance by rapper icon Parrish Smith of PMD\, former member of EPMD & Hit Squad\, is also on the cards. \nThe event will also showcase teenage sensations performing a fusion of Afrobeat\, hip hop\, gospel\, and R&B. The Ross Boyz will perform their new hit single ‘Chit Chat’\, alongside Latin & R&B singer Travi\, rapper Sahn Dan\, and the gospel rapper & poet Jawaan. Elder Melvin J Robinson Jr will be ministering in gospel song. \nThe concert will also feature a captivating performance by TwiinDaG’s NYC Street Dance Crew members\, ‘Balance & Kahn’ and a Hair Fashion Show showcasing local entrepreneurs\, led by celebrity NYC & LI stylist Tracey Collins and barber & entrepreneur Charlie Green. \nThere will be a ‘Kids Zone’\, sponsored by Bright and Early ‘Discovery Learning Centers\, where children can partake in activities\, games\, face painting\, and more.
