DESCRIPTION:Each Memorial Day Weekend\, East End Arts unleashes the creativity of the neighborhood and brings the community together for the Mosaic Street Painting Festival. \nThis family-focused event was inspired by the street artists of Grazie di Curtatone\, Italy who gather each year for the Incontro Nazionale dei Madonnari where the streets of the village are converted into works of art in chalk. \nThe free street festival offers the chance to watch chalk artists create their masterpieces on the Main Street. Other attractions include: live music\, drum circle\, theater and dance performances\, interactive art\, kids zone\, craft and artisan vendors\, food trucks and local restaurants. \nTo register for a square\, visit the East End Arts website. 4’x6′ $25 in advance. $30 day of event. Each square comes with a box of chalk. \nSunday\, May 26th\, 2024 from 12 to 5 p.m. on Main Street in Riverhead.
