The series is designed for writers of all levels and genres\, offering an opportunity to experiment with writing techniques and receive constructive feedback within a supportive community. \nThe course covers various aspects of writing\, including description\, imagery\, character development\, voice\, and narrative arc. Participants will engage in in-class writing prompts\, guided discussions\, and analysis of published mentor texts. The aim is to create a nurturing environment focused on revision and growth. Note that the class is limited to 12 students and attendees must be able to participate in all workshops. \nMira Johnson is currently working on a novel exploring the aftermath of a school shooting on a married couple who are both teachers. Her work has been published in various literary journals and she has received residencies at several prestigious institutions.
