These include Memorial Sloan Kettering\, Northwell Health\, Institute NF\, NY Cancer & Blood\, Pearlmutter Cancer Center at NYU Langone\, and Stony Brook Cancer Center. \nAttendees will hear from an acupuncturist/herbalist\, a cancer naturopathic doctor\, a functional medicine practitioner\, a nutritionist\, and experts in meditation\, reiki\, and yoga. The focus will be on innovative treatments that can support patients from diagnosis through recovery and beyond. \nIn addition to the informative sessions\, attendees will be treated to a healthy and organic light breakfast and lunch. \nThe event is free\, but RSVP is required as seats are limited. This is a valuable opportunity to learn about integrative approaches to breast cancer care from leading experts in the field.

The walk is a fundraiser to support the free services the coalition offers to breast cancer patients and their Lend A Helping Hand grant program. Here’s what you need to know: \n– Participants can pre-register through the NFBHC website or register from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. on the day of the event.\n– The walk begins at 9 a.m. and ends by 11 a.m.\n– The registration fee is $30 if paid by Sept. 20 and $35 if paid after that date or on the day of the event.\n– The first 300 entrants will receive a gift bag.\n– Walkers are encouraged to gather pledges of support from friends\, family\, and colleagues. Top fundraising awards will be given in the following categories: Young Adult (ages 13 to 19)\, Adult\, Breast Cancer Survivor\, and Business/Team.\n– Team captains must register team members\, send in names and registration fees by Sept. 20\, and submit pledge money on the morning of the event.\n– From 7:30 to 8:45 a.m.\, registrants can enjoy breakfast that includes coffee\, tea\, and juice with muffins\, granola bars\, and fruit. They can also buy raffle tickets for dozens of valuable prizes donated by Tanger Outlet stores.\n– The opening ceremony starts at 8:45 a.m. with greetings from Lesley Anthony\, marketing director\, Tanger. \nAlthough it is possible to sign up that day for the race\, registration in advance is recommended. DESCRIPTION:The North Fork Breast Health Coalition (NFBHC) is set to celebrate breast cancer survivors\, thrivers\, providers\, and caregivers at the Annual Pink Pearl Gala. The gala will be a night of recognition\, celebration\, and support\, with a cocktail reception\, seated dinner\, raffles\, and dancing to music by DJ Phil of Make Some Noise. \nThe event will be held on Friday\, April 11\, from 6-10 p.m. at the Sea Star Ballroom\, Hyatt Place Long Island. This year\, the NFBHC will honor Simmons Point Group of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC with the NFBHC Corporate Leadership Award. The company\, with an office in Riverhead\, is one of the nation’s most prestigious investment firms. \nLisa and Anthony Sannino will also be honored at the gala with the NFBHC Community Spirit Award for their commitment to supporting the East End breast cancer community. They have generously hosted the NFBHC Stage IV summer fundraiser for the last three years at Sannino Vineyard\, Cutchogue. \nAttendees are encouraged to wear pink\, green\, and/or teal (colors of the tricolor ribbon for metastatic breast cancer). Tickets are available for $150 per person and $125 for breast cancer survivors and thrivers.
