DESCRIPTION:The Rotary Club of Riverhead is inviting community members to participate in a Day of Service on May 18\, 2024. The event\, titled ‘Rotary Day of Service’\, will focus on cleaning up the area around and within the Peconic River. This is a great opportunity for individuals and community groups to contribute to the betterment of their surroundings. It’s also an excellent chance for students looking for volunteer hours. \nThe cleanup will start at 8 a.m. and continue until noon. The meeting point is at the flagpole in downtown Peconic River Front. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided to all volunteers. \nThis event is free to attend.
