DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, June 23\, The Suffolk is hosting ‘The ’90s & 2000s Called\, They Want Brunch! Boy Band Brunch.’ This unique event combines the nostalgia of boy bands with the joy of brunch. The Boy Band Project\, known for their appearances on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live and Good Morning America with The Backstreet Boys\, will be performing. They will be re-imagining the sound\, movement\, and energy of iconic boy bands such as NSYNC\, Backstreet Boys\, Hanson\, One Direction\, 98 Degrees\, O-town\, BoyzIIMen\, Jonas Brothers and more. \nThe brunch buffet will begin at 11 a.m.\, an hour before the show starts. The buffet includes scrambled eggs\, bacon\, sausage\, quiche\, pancakes\, waffles\, fruit salad\, bagels\, and croissants. Tickets can be purchased with or without brunch included. The event starts at 8 p.m. The Suffolk will be transformed into a disco haven\, with all its tables and chairs cleared out to make space for a night of dancing. The event is inspired by the music of ABBA\, and will feature a DJ spinning all the disco hits of the ’70s and ’80s. Expect to hear tunes from the Bee Gees\, Donna Summer\, Cher\, and many others. \nTickets for the event range from $35 to $45\, plus applicable fees. They can be purchased online at TheSuffolk.org. The orchestra level will be general admission standing-room. For those who prefer to sit\, balcony seating will still include tables and chairs with wait service. These must be reserved by calling the Box Office at 631-727-4343. \nThe Suffolk\, originally hailed as “The Radio City of Long Island\,” is a meticulously restored Art Deco venue and the last original Art Deco theater on Long Island.
