The 18th Annual North Fork Foodie Tour, sponsored by the North Fork Reform Synagogue, is set to take place on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour has been a staple event in North Fork since 2007, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore the area’s farms, vineyards, and food and beverage producers. This year, participants can chart their own course and visit 20 locations, meeting the dedicated individuals who produce top-notch food and wine.
New additions to the tour this year include Farrm Wine, Oregon Road Organics, Breeze Hill Farm, Sweet Woodland Farm, and Old Field Vineyards. The event also features talks and demonstrations by experts in their fields at the Peconic Land Trust Agricultural Center at Charnews Farm in Southold. Some of the speakers include chef Jeremiah Johnson, Page Pfeiffer of the French Picnic, representatives from Slow Food East End, and Miranda Capriotti from the East End Food Institute.
Tickets for the tour are priced at $30 for adults while children under 12 can join for free. On the day of the event, tickets can be purchased at any participating Foodie Tour location, and at Foodie Tour Headquarters at the Peconic Land Trust Agricultural Center at Charnews Farm.
