The second annual Oktoberfest and Reflextions illumination event is set to take place on Sept. 30 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event, hosted by the Riverhead Business Improvement District, will feature live music by the Bratwurst Boys. Attendees are encouraged to dress in traditional German attire for a costume contest. The event will also hold a stein holding contest. German style food will be available from Seaside Grill and local craft breweries including Long Ireland Beer Co., North Fork Brewing Co., Peconic County Brewing, and Tradewinds will be providing the beer. The event is free to attend and is family-friendly. The Oktoberfest and Reflextions illumination event is made possible with public funding from Suffolk County and grants from I Love NY, Discover Long Island, and East End Tourism Alliance.
