Riverhead Town Police will be participating in the 42nd Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 5. This event is designed to heighten crime and drug awareness, generate support for local anti-crime programs, and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., residents are invited to join the Riverhead Police Department Crime Prevention Unit at Riverhead Town Square, located across from the Suffolk Theater on East Main Street. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions or socialize with members of the Riverhead Police Department.
