A Brief History of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution at Riverhead Free Library

Join Riverhead Free Library for a special presentation on ‘A Brief History of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America’ on Thursday, Sept. 14. The event, led by historian Martin Levinson, is set to commemorate Constitution Day, which falls on Sept. 17. The presentation will start at 5:30 p.m. and conclude an hour later at 6:30 p.m.

The event will take place via Zoom, and participants are required to register online to receive the Zoom link. As part of the event, Sen. Anthony H. Palumbo has provided complimentary booklets of ‘The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution of the United States of America’. These booklets are available for pickup at the Riverhead Free Library.

This is a free event, providing an excellent opportunity to learn more about the origins of two of the most important documents in American history.
