The Suffolk Theater presents a special evening with original stars of RENT, Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp. The duo will be celebrating 30 years of friendship and their shared history in the iconic musical on Sunday, Aug. 18 at 8 p.m. The event promises a night of music, stories, and fun, featuring songs from their illustrious careers, music that has influenced their lives, and of course, a few of the iconic hits from RENT.
Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp were part of the original cast of RENT, a Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical that has become an international phenomenon. Since their time in RENT, both have gone on to do great work on Broadway, film, and TV.
Adam Pascal, known for his role as Roger Davis in RENT, has also starred in Broadway’s Aida, Memphis, Chicago, Disaster, Something Rotten!, and Pretty Woman, among others. Anthony Rapp, best known for originating the role of Mark Cohen in RENT, has also appeared in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown; Six Degrees of Separation; and If/Then. He currently plays the role of Commander Paul Stamets on the Paramount television series “Star Trek: Discovery”.
