American Legion Auxiliary America’s 250th birthday BBQ

American Legion Auxiliary Riverhead will host a family barbecue celebrating America’s 250th birthday at American Legion Post 273 in Riverhead.

Food includes hamburgers, hot dogs, turkey burgers, salads, soda and water. A cash bar will be available.

The afternoon will include a flag ceremony at 1:30 p.m., music by Merrie, and fundraising games including Chinese auctions, a basket of cheer and a 50-50 raffle.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at the American Legion or prepaid via Venmo at @Deborah-Fleming-11, with prepaid tickets held at the entrance.
