An Evening with Jimmy Webb at the Suffolk

Grammy Award-winning songwriter Jimmy Webb returns to the Suffolk for “An Evening with Jimmy Webb,” a concert that pairs performances of his best-known songs with stories from his career.

Webb’s catalog includes “Wichita Lineman,” “MacArthur Park,” “Up, Up and Away,” “By the Time I Get to Phoenix” and “Worst That Could Happen,” along with songs recorded by artists including Glen Campbell, Art Garfunkel and Linda Ronstadt. During the show, Webb performs at the piano and talks about the origins of his work, from early songwriting jobs through decades in the pop and country music worlds.
