Annual chicken BBQ at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church

St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church will host its annual chicken barbecue on Aug. 3. Grounds open from 1  to 7 p.m.  Food service 3 to 5 p.m.

The event promises a day filled with great food, live Ukrainian music, raffles and family fun. The proceeds from the event will be used to support the people of Ukraine. Tickets $30 for adults in advance ($35 at gate) and $15 for children under 12.

The barbecue will take place on the parish grounds, Franklin Street and Roanoke Avenue, Riverhead.
