Blood Drive Scholarship Event at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church

The New York Blood Center is hosting a Blood Drive Scholarship event, organized by Stephanie Cardona and Eric Gabrielsen. The drive is set to take place at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church’s Fellowship Hall, located at 269 Main Rd, Aquebogue. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Eligibility requirements for donors include:
– Must be at least 17 years old, or 16 with parental consent
– Must meet minimum weight requirements
– Must feel good and be symptom-free

Donors are advised to eat well and hydrate before the event, and to bring a photo ID. For full eligibility requirements and COVID-19 information, visit nybc.org/eligibility.

As a token of appreciation, each participating donor will receive a poinsettia plant from Gabrielsen’s Florist and can enjoy a make-your-own hot cocoa from the hot chocolate station.
