Southold Historical Museum is accepting submissions for Ten Squared, a nonjuried online exhibit and sale. This year’s theme is “Celebrate America — North Fork legacy in the spirit of 1776,” inviting artists to interpret what the nation’s 250th anniversary represents to them, with a focus on the North Fork’s historical and cultural contributions.
Artists may submit up to three pieces, each measuring 10 inches by 10 inches. All mediums are welcome. Each accepted work will be sold for $100, with 50% of the sale going to the artist and 50% supporting the museum.
Finished works and submission forms must be delivered in person between Monday, June 15, and Friday, June 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., along with the artwork submission form. The exhibit and sale will be presented online from July 1 to July 31, 2026. Submission forms and guidelines are available on the museum website.
