Daily Needs Drive at Riverhead Free Library

The Riverhead Free Library is hosting a Daily Needs Drive from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, 2025. The drive aims to collect new travel-size hygiene products such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, band-aids, and deodorant. The drive is also accepting easy-open (pop-top cans only) non-perishable food items like tuna packets, pop-top soup cans, granola bars, and more. Additionally, new socks and gloves for adults are also being collected. Due to safety concerns, only new, unopened items can be accepted. Donations can be brought to the Children’s Reference Desk at the library. This event is free to attend and supports adults in need in our community.
