Join the lecture “Dust for Blood: Long Island Labor Camps” on Saturday, March 4 at 12 p.m. at Southold Recreation Center hosted by the Southold Historical Museum and NOFO Real Estate.
The lecture will be led by author Mark Torres as part of the “Local Farming Through the Years” series. Participants will learn about the history of labor camps for the potato farming industry and what factors led to the ultimate decline of both.
