Family Fun Community Day

The Roanoke Avenue Elementary School PTO is hosting its First Annual Family Fun Community Day on Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of the school.

The whole community is invited to a day filled with fun, food and family-friendly games and activities. There will be a basket raffle with over 100 items including tickets to Splish Splash water park, Safari Adventure, Cousins Paintball, All Star bowling, Top Golf, gift cards for local restaurants and more. Plus: entertainment, vendors, food trucks and community resource tables with the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County, Riverhead Free Library, Long Island Science Center, Riverhead Community Awareness Program, Bright and Early Discoveries, the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department and more.

Roanoke PTO President Karma Marshall said the organization wants to bring the community together to celebrate spring and enjoy family-friendly fun.

Admission is free. Parking is available in nearby municipal lots.

Roanoke Avenue Elementary School is located at 549 Roanoke Avenue in Riverhead.
