FFD/FRNCA Blood Drive at Flanders Fire House

The Flanders Fire Department and the Flanders Riverside Northampton Community Association are teaming up to host a blood drive on Saturday, Jan. 4. The event will take place at the Flanders Fire House, located at 19 Firehouse Lane, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Donors are welcome to walk in, but appointments can also be made by scanning the provided QR code or calling 1-800-933-2566. To prepare for donation, attendees are advised to eat well, hydrate, and feel good and symptom-free. Donors must be at least 17 years old, or 16 with parental consent, and meet minimum weight requirements.

As a token of appreciation, all donors will be treated to a hero sandwich from Meetinghouse Deli. For more information about eligibility requirements and COVID-19 precautions, visit the New York Blood Center website at http://nybc.org.
