Film: “Black Patriots: Heroes of the Revolution”

Riverhead Free Library will host an America 250 program featuring a screening of the documentary “Black Patriots: Heroes of the Revolution.” The film explores the African American experience during the Revolutionary War and highlights figures including Crispus Attucks, Phillis Wheatley, Peter Salem and James Armistead Lafayette. The documentary also features Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
