Film premiere: “Warrior: A Battle Against Trauma, Learning to Love and Trust Again”

On the evening of May 22, 2025, Warrior Ranch in partnership with Warrior Films, proudly presents the premiere of “Warrior: A Battle Against Trauma, Learning to Love and Trust Again ” See trailer. at The Suffolk on Main Street in Riverhead.

This powerful documentary shines a light on the profound role horses play in helping to heal the invisible wounds carried by those who have served our country as veterans and our communities as first responders. The film is making its debut just a few days before Memorial Day.

Healing takes courage, and sometimes the toughest battle is the one within. This film illustrates how these majestic animals, many of whom are rescues, become more than companions; they become beacons of hope at the end of a dark tunnel.

Proceeds from the film will benefit the Warrior Ranch Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving veterans and first responders by connecting them with rescue horses, many of whom are overcoming their own struggles. Through the art of natural horsemanship, Warrior Ranch creates a safe-haven where heroes and horses heal side by side.

This film is aimed at raising public awareness and critical funds so that Warrior Ranch can offer the support, understanding, and love that our heroes deserve.
