Support the mission of Johanna’s Hope and enjoy meeting chickens, goats and more on Friday, Aug. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Jo’s Farm — 467 Sound Shore Road in Riverhead.
Community members are invited to attend the fundraiser event to meet chickens, pet roast and watch bees at work in Jo’s Bee Garden. The event will also feature a honey harvest by master beekeeper of PromiseLand Apiaries Chris Kelly.
Admission include dinner by Barrow Food House, drinks by Bridge Lane Wine and Peconic Bay Vineyards and homemade desserts by Jo with eggs from the farm.
