Geek Talk at übergeek Brewing: Studying Atlantic Menhaden with Drones and Satellites

Join the übergeek Brewing Company for a unique night of learning and libations at their Geek Talk series. This edition, titled ‘The Eye in the Sky: Studying Long Island’s Atlantic Menhaden with drones and satellites’, promises to be an enlightening experience for all attendees.

The event is a collaboration with Fish Guy Photos and will feature a lecture by Dean Hernandez from the Warren lab at SoMAS. The evening will kick off with some socializing over great beer and delicious food from 7 p.m., with the lecture beginning at 8 p.m.

Geek Talks is a platform for local naturalists, educators, researchers, and other geeks to share their knowledge and passion with the community. So, come along for an evening of intellectual stimulation, good food, and excellent beer.
