Heart of Riverhead Civic meeting: Conversation with Riverhead Police Chief David Hegermiller

The Heart of Riverhead Civic Association’s March meeting will feature a conversation with Chief of Police David Hegermiller.

Continuing the goal to connect HRCA members and the greater community with town officials, the conversation with Chief Hegermiller will explore the inner workings of the Riverhead Police Department, the state of our township, and how residents can support the officers and help to improve and maintain town safety.

Questions will be taken in person or can be submitted ahead of time on the “Heart of Riverhead Civic Association” Facebook Group or emailed to HeartofRiverheadCivic@gmail.com

The March 18 meeting will also include a brief presentation by the Riverhead BID (Business Improvement District) on the current state of downtown, upcoming events of interest and volunteer opportunities.

The Heart of Riverhead Civic Association (HRCA) was established to amplify the voices of local residents and businesses and to share concerns, shape the future and strengthen the community.  Membership is open to residents or friends for $25 or $50 for local businesses.
