Riverhead Free Library is hosting ‘Improv for Fun,’ a fun and interactive experience that takes participants out of their daily routine and relieves stress through laughter. Improv is the art of performing without any preparation and without using a script. Everyone in the class will be given a chance to participate in theater games and improv scenes based on suggestions taken from the group that are acted out by two to four group members at a time. There are no mistakes; the goal is to have a laugh and enjoy the moment. The event is free to attend and will take place on two dates: Sept. 24 and Oct. 8, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
