Joanne Shaw Taylor Live at The Suffolk Theater

Joanne Shaw Taylor, a chart-topping British blues-rock sensation, will be performing on Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 8 p.m. Known for her endorsements from Joe Bonamassa, Stevie Wonder, and Annie Lennox, Taylor is considered one of the greatest modern blues-rock performers. The performance will feature tracks from her album Heavy Soul and her upcoming album, Black & Gold. Taylor will also perform fan favorites and blues classics.

Taylor is best known for her latest hits “Sweet ‘Lil Lies”, “Black Magic” and “Wild Love.” These tracks have redefined blues-rock with their emotive storytelling and Taylor’s signature guitar riffs. Discovered by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics at the age of 16, Taylor’s rise to stardom has been propelled by endorsements from music giants like Stevie Wonder and Annie Lennox.

Her discography includes chart-toppers like Reckless Heart, The Blues Album, and most recently Nobody’s Fool. Taylor is currently signed with Journeyman Records, a label spearheaded by Joe Bonamassa and manager Roy Weisman.
