Jamesport Meeting House is hosting a unique Live Music/Silent Film Festival on four consecutive Friday evenings from Aug. 8 to Aug. 29. The festival will feature silent films specially-curated by artist, composer, and filmmaker Cliff Baldwin, with live music accompaniment by The Aquebogue Contemporary Music Ensemble. Each evening’s performance begins at 7:30 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m.
Here’s the line-up:

– Aug. 15: “Home Movies” featuring Sigmund Freud and other American family film rarities.
– Aug. 22: “Deep Sea Adventures” with mysterious creatures of the ultra-deep oceans, including Germaine Dulac’s “The Seashell” and “The Clergyman.”
– Aug. 29: A.I. films of the filmmaker’s dreams and other subconscious creations, plus surrealist cinematic treats like Francis Picabia’s “Entr’Acte.”
