Riverhead Faculty and Community Theatre is set to stage the iconic play ‘Love Letters’ by A.R. Gurney. The play will be directed by Alek Lewis and will feature two of our favorite couples – Lauren & Mark Sisson on Feb. 16, and Patti & Rowland Hautsch on Feb. 17. The performances will start at 7 p.m. on both days.
“Love Letters” was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1990.
“The play’s two characters are a man and a woman who exchange letters, but not marriage vows, in a warm and complicated friendship lasting 50 years. Because they choose others as mates, and live to regret it, Love Letters has a wistful tone: beneath the sparkle expected from Gurney, sadness and remorse.” – Playbill
“Love Letters” will be held at the North Shore United Methodist Church. Tickets are priced at $20 per person, but a special offer of $35 is available for any two people attending together. For reservations, call 631-929-6075 or email nsumc@optonline.net.
Don’t miss this chance to witness a heartwarming performance by these talented actors.
