The Jamesport Meeting House is hosting the Lysander Piano Trio on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 7:30 p.m. This performance is part of the 1731 Series, which brings internationally-acclaimed musicians to Jamesport. The trio will present a program titled, “Dreams & Apparitions,” featuring works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Rebecca Clarke, and Robert Schumann. The Lysander Piano Trio, praised for its “incredible ensemble, passionate playing, articulate and imaginative ideas and wide palette of colors” by The Strad, and for “an uncommon degree of heart-on-the-sleeve emotional frankness” by The Washington Post, consists of Itamar Zorman on violin, James Kim on cello, and Liza Stepanova on piano. Tickets for this performance are priced at $20, which includes a reception with the artists.
